Kids Aren’t The Future of the Church
Kids
Are the Church!
We believe ministry to our children is one of the most vital missions of Adams UMC. We offer several opportunities for kids to discover their faith, to grow in their faith, to ask questions, and even get messy sometimes! All of our children’s ministry volunteers are background checked and vetted to ensure the safety of all children in our care.
Children’s Sermon
During the Sunday morning worship service, Brother Jonathan gives a brief sermon to help the kids connect the day’s scripture and message to their lives now. And, let’s be honest, the adults learn something too!
Children’s Church
All kids are always welcome to remain with their parents after the children’s sermon, but small kids are invited to play and learn during children’s church. Parents may collect their kids after the worship service is over by visiting the nursery.
Sunday School After Church
On the fourth Sunday of each month, kids 3-12 are invited to stay for lunch, fun, a lesson, fun, a craft, and fun! Sunday School After Church gives the kids caregivers a change to go to lunch or take a nap! Sunday School After Church ends at 2:30.
